The Paulist Fathers seek to add a full-time team member to its Office of Marketing and Communications.
The Associate Communications Director will partner with the Director of Marketing and Communications in carrying out the office’s existing initiatives to tell the Paulist story, as well as assist with new projects related to internal communications.
The portfolio of the office includes:

Daily Social Media Management (nine major channels)

Weekly Email Newsletter Production
-
Podcast Coordination and Promotion
-
Video Production Coordination (with a vendor)
-
Website Management (with a vendor)
-
On-Site Special Event Management of Photographers and Videographers (some travel required, mostly, but not limited to, New York and Washington, D.C.)

Assistance with Advancement Communications, including drafting text and photo selection for print materials
-
Assistance with Vocations Advertising and Promotions
-
Media Relations, including drafting press releases
-
Crisis Communications
-
Conferences Exhibiting
-
Print Materials Creation
-
Text Message Marketing for Holidays and Special Events

Special Events Promotion and Assistance
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a:
-
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field;

Strong knowledge of Associate Press Style;

Strong understanding of the Catholic faith and a willingness to attend Catholic liturgies and prayer services;

Appreciation for the unique Paulist mission and approach to evangelization to those outside of the Catholic Church;

Ability to build strong working relationships with priests and non-ordained persons at the locations served by the Paulists

Ability to use of variety of online tools, including MailChimp, Canva, and project management tools;
-
Ability to work on occasional evenings and weekend days;
-
Ability to travel approximately four times a year for conferences, meetings, and special events.
Salary commensurate with experience.
