
The Diocese of Charlotte seeks a passionate and innovative journalist to create and curate compelling bilingual content covering the events, news and people of our growing Hispanic Catholic community. You’ll contribute to the award-winning Catholic News Herald and CNH Español across print, digital and social media platforms, as well as help develop new ones. This role offers growth opportunities as part of an experienced team in one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications-related field, and fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English.

Founded in September 1991, the Catholic News Herald and companion CNH Español is the Diocese of Charlotte's official news outlet. The award-winning news team publishes a print edition that has a circulation of 61,000 and growing, along with a website that is updated daily, one of the largest YouTube channels among U.S. (arch)dioceses, and a robust social media presence on Facebook, Instagram and X.
