The Diocese of Green Bay currently has a full-time opening for a Communications and Marketing Director.
The Director of Communications and Marketing oversees the Office of Communications & Marketing to include setting communications and marketing goals, strategies, and action plans for the diocese and for each mission team and office. This position manages and supervises the communications and marketing team and directs the communications and marketing efforts that are performed by team members. The director provides communications and marketing counsel and recommendations to the leadership team in preparing messages to key audiences. Prepares and monitors the office budget(s) and undertakes special projects assigned by leadership.
We are seeking a talented leader who has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related. Senior level experience in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations, or equivalent management and supervisory experience. Must have excellent marketing, interpersonal and communications skills, experience with project management, financial management and budgeting, video/ audio production, script writing, and media relations. Time management, decision making, critical thinking and detail are essential in this position. Must be a practicing Catholic and have a strong understanding of the Catholic faith.
