A display advertising sales representative offers solutions for advertising across multiple communications platforms, works closely with current advertisers, and seeks new advertisers to expand their client base. Account executives work in an honest, ethical manner in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church as a team member of the St. Louis Review, Catholic St. Louis, and the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Compensation is a base salary plus commission.
Job Responsibilities
- Contacts potential advertisers via telephone, email, and in-field visits
- Presents opportunities to existing and prospective clients to advertise in digital and print platforms
- Stays abreast of advertising trends and emerging technologies
- Sets personal monthly & yearly sales goals
- Assists in the layout of advertisements in digital and print products
- Understands and utilizes media tools and social networking options in relation to advertising strategies
- Generates creative ideas for revenue growth strategies
- Designs advertisements as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Strong personal and sales skills to foster excellent relationships
- Proficient with electronic communications, computers, and office equipment, including software that is beneficial to advertising sales and design
- Has command of the English language
