Position Summary:
Bayard is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Bilingual Religious Sales Representative (Spanish/English) to expand our presence across the Pacific and West Coast region. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional who excels at building relationships, closing deals, and delivering exceptional service to faith-based institutions. You will manage both inbound and outbound sales activities, with a strong focus on converting leads and growing existing accounts within Catholic schools and parishes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Drive revenue by actively identifying, targeting, and closing new sales opportunities in assigned territory: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming)
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls, virtual presentations, and product demonstrations to decision-makers within catholic schools and parishes.
- Follow up persistently on leads, inquiries, and previous client interactions to move prospects through the sales pipeline.
- Develop a deep understanding of Bayard’s product offerings to position compelling value propositions that meet client needs.
- Convert product interest and sampling activity into orders with a strong close ratio.
- Monitor account activity and proactively re-engage lapsed or at-risk customers.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all sales interactions, orders, and customer data within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and product development, to support the sales closure process.
- Analyze sales trends and territory performance to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and report on key performance metrics.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in sales, with a focus on closing and quota achievement. Minimum of 3 years of proven success in a quota-driven sales role; experience in education or ministry-related sales a plus.
- Experience in sales, training, or the educational industry strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and convert leads into customers.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable using CRM tools and Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as communication tools such Teams, Zoom. Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of Catholic education and parish ministry is a plus. Familiarity with Catholic education, parish life, or religious ministry is strongly preferred.
